On the sound of it Clothes from milk sounds almost impossible. A young designer from Germany Anne Domaske has introduced a new fabric called QMilch. The fabric is made by high concentrations of the milk protein casein. Domaske told Reuters "It feels like silk and it doesn't smell -- you can wash it just like anything else".

It is made from natural materials and it is purely ecological. It has many health benefits as the amino acids in the protein are anti bacterial and anti aging. It regulates both blood pressure and body temperature.

Domaske’s fashion label known as Mademoiselle Chi Chi and it has started using the milk fibers in weaving its collection. The designer also intends on designing an entire range from QMilch.

It requires 6 liters of milk to produce one dress which costs 150 Euros to 200 Euros. The designer is excited at this venture and has high hopes with the brand for its success.
